Even if your results were poor – you're still of value!!

We all remember ‘results day’ and at that time our whole life depended on this hinge point. Did we make it? Well we raise our glasses to those that did – what a moment when young people are honoured for their hardwork and anxious hearts are set at ease. Wonderful stuff! But there are others too – those who hear disappointing news today. Perhaps they can’t get into their first choice university or maybe they can’t get into a university at all. For those people experiencing bad news today I have two things to say. Firstly – let this setback be a springboard. Ask yourself what can I learn from this? And how can I move on positively? Secondly & so importantly we mustn’t define ourself by the setback. We are all here for a purpose and a resilient ‘get up’ rather than ‘give up’  response is key. These low moments can define us. Look forward in to the future with positivity folks!
